Treeknocker Sasquatch:

1. Lives in the Hoh Rainforest on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State.

2. Acts as something of a caretaker for the forest and its creatures. He’ll also look after the humans if they get in trouble, as long as they’re not malicious.

3. He’s an “open secret” in a small village, where he visits sometimes. Everybody there protects the secret of his existence. Sasquatch? That’s a legend. There are no real sasquatches, not around here.

4. He has one known possession: A flute some Native Americans gave to him. He plays this in the forest (one picture shows him playing a song to the setting sun).

5. He’s naturally very shy, but friendly once he gets to know someone.

6. He almost never wears any kind of clothing. Not even in town. But he wants friends to be comfortable and would cover up for that.

7. He likes water a lot, and is often in it. Consequently, he’s usually pretty clean. For a sasquatch.

8. Although he lives mostly like a forest creature, he is actually literate.
