I have recently been pointed out by a user on this site that it is illegal to change the lineart on a drawing. And it is illegal to trace Fursuit as well. I apologize to those that I have so rudely disrespected as artists themselves and took down the traced pictures. My dad told me that tracing is the key to improving my art. I shouldn't have went this far. And I thought crediting the orignal artist made it okay. I am new to the community I just started last year. I am sorry to phoenixwuff and all of the others I have done that to. Only 3 pictures were actually traced on this account. And I took them down. I'm just so ashamed that I am not as good as I should be. I have been practicing my ass off ever since I was only 12 years old...and I haven't really made much improvement. My dream of become a comic illustrator seems to be failing and I can't afford going to an art school. So...out of the shame of doing such a horrible action like that...an artist sin, I am going to stop art. I already put my tablet on craigslist, and I threw away my art, and got rid of the 200 prismacolor markers and artist ink for my comics. I...I'm a fraud. I've tried. I wanted to be like my dad...I used to watch him draw comic concept art all the time, all of the superheroes and robots and apocalypse stories excited me and really drew my interest. I shouldnt play the victim at all. Its wrong. But I'm done with art...I'm sorry.
And, to be honest, tracing is generally a bad thing, yes, but it can help you improve and understand how some pictures are being made. Just uploading traced pictures is kinda... meh.
I've been given the same advice that tracing is a good way to help improve (it gives you a better idea of how to get the shapes right and how different parts connect etc) but you probably shouldn't post it anywhere.
You'll never improve if you give up, and you're a way better artist than me
