I'll be going on a singles cruise at the beginning of July. I haven't been on a cruise since I was laid off from my weekday job in 2008. Unlike past cruises, this one will be on a smaller sailing vessel instead of a large cruise ship (the S/V Mandalay) and will sail around Grenada and the Grenadines. I set up a weight loss plan which would put me at or below 290 pounds by July; so far, the plan has been successful. I'm still looking around my messy condo for my waterproof camera case. If I don't find it, I browsed online for underwater cameras.

I went to a bowling meet in Denver recently. For the most part, I managed to avoid hooking the ball to the left. I think using a slightly-heavier ball (14-15 pounds?) helped keep my arm from going wild. My scores were 111, 126 and 133, a big improvement over past bowling meets. One of the Denver furs I know who regularly goes to FoxTrot showed up, though he didn't bowl. It took just under an hour to drive to the bowling alley since it is in Greenwood Village, on the south end of the Denver area. Driving home took longer this time since a heavy snow storm started while I was bowling.

I woke up with a small cold last Wednesday, but I managed to knock it out by Thursday night. There is some light snow expected this weekend. I hope that's the last of the snow until Fall.
