Tire-d of flat tires

Colorado Springs got another 5-6 inches of snow on Wednesday. I had hoped to get many more DoorDash delivery requests that afternoon, but I only got 3.
While driving to a catering order on Thursday, my car's "low tire pressure" warning came on. I had to have the catering order reassigned to another driver as a result.
This morning, USAA sent their Roadside Assistance to my condo to check out my car. It turns out a screw had embedded itself in the rear passenger-side tire. The mechanic plugged the tire's hole and reinflated the tire. I wanted to put a spare tire on, but there was no spare in the back of my car. At the tire store, the employee who worked on my car said the plugged tire wasn't leaking and recommended keeping that tire instead of replacing it.

My last car didn't come with a spare, just a air pump and bottle of generic flat plugging goo. Tons of house construction causes that. Debris gets washed into the street or into parking areas with snow plows.. I had a plugged tire a few times but the inevitable is...plugs wear out way faster, they just buy you time. I lived through a major hail event in Louisville and because of all the roofing jobs..(lots of nails, staples and roofing debris.) When I got my tires replaced they showed them to me and with all of the debris in them, I'm lucky I made it as long as I did.
