Loooong day.

So I'm in EMT classes and today was my first ride-along.
We had no calls until like 11am.
Then non-stop calls until my shift was over at 6:30pm.
A motor vehicle accident right in front of the ambulance station I was at. (Nobody was hurt.)
A diabetic with blood sugar at 22 but still conscious (Usually if it's that low they are not.)
A possible heart attack.
Transferring a terminal person to hospice (That one took up a big chunk of time!)
Everything turned out okay, just like we would get off one call and be on another right away. And I live in a rural area where that doesn't happen all that often.
Still it was a good learning experience I think.
