Ever had one of those annoyingly phrases placed on your most prized concepts?
One of which you felt completely satisfied on keeping in fun plays?
Then, someone close you're linked with HAD to ruinate your jimmies for almost no reason about it?
YEAH...
Listen, I KNOW the genie-like Ambipom is immensely powerful. BUT, you don't have to be a bunghole
in stating Sues when months or years of effort was invested in a person's work.
If said bunghole knows no better.
YES, four Types.
YES, priority scouted, battle-feared moveset and ability combination.
YES, stats of mind-blowing benchmarks and a +1 move tactic.
BUT, ya know WHAT? It was practically intended, due to the fandom mocking Ambipom since Gen 4.
Battler-fans and normal-fans alike. In few of the worst ways.
The funny thing is about one of my art-friends claiming "God-mode Sue!"? It's not really "God-like".
Ice is still a double-edged sword, no matter how many good Types you pair it by, and four is a even limit IMO.
Those four Types together has decent weakening drawbacks to be NOT 100% INVINCIBLE. Striking first be danged.
Heck, why else Bulk Up is in the offensive plan of combat, otherwise?
Of course, I could've gone cheaper on Cosmic Power, though I prefer to be fair to a degree...
Just because a design is based of a wish-granting deity, does not mean it is as such.
I seen the fandom do way more Sue-ish antics, but no one calls them out.
I mean, I seen a hybrid who used the +1 move idea and others splicing along Legendaries AND further 'mons.
Nobody calls foul on 'em. EVER.
HOWEVER, the one fugging time I felt accomplished in my life drawing to show beauty, might, grace and
different-worldly appeal, it gets penalty whistled, red-flagged and siren blared.
I am fully fed up when a person opens his Klaptrap and blurt out that one carelessly fired phrase I detest.
NO MORE, please.
