It's been well over a year at this point since my last journal, and life updates are going to feel more like re-introductions, so I feel like maybe I should treat it as such.

Hello, my name is Summer~! My fursona is a rabbit now, and I go by this name both in the fandom and IRL. I started hormones in October of 2015, and have become a lot less confused about things due to both hormones and time. I am, and have always been, a girl, and I can't express how unbelievably better my life has been since going down this path. The depression that hindered and defined much of my entire life is gone, I am so much happier and emotionally whole, and for once I actually feel like a functional person.

I've made this journey, and continue to make it, with  akkeresu, whom I've only grown into a much bigger, better person with <3. I never posted a follow up to my trip to see him, but that perfect week still flows vividly through my mind. We have arrived happily at a polyamorous relationship, which has been another eye opening thing for me to explore.

I am graduating, finally, in a few weeks with my Associate's of Applied Business in Computer Science / Software Engineering. What started as what I'll freely admit was a begrudged acceptance of what was a step lower than my true passion in life, Music and Writing, has truly become a passion in mine. I have a few projects I plan on working on in my spare time as I work on resume stuff, look around for jobs, and network. If nothing happens on that front, I plan on going back for my BA in Software Engineering.

Either way, my ultimate goal in a year or two is Seattle. I've always wanted to move away from Cleveland (Gee, I wonder why), and Seattle seems like a beautiful place that is full of opportunity for my major, along with having a large contingent of folks I consider friends living in the area.  akkeresu and I have set sights on this prospect, and I plan on doing everything in my power to make it a reality.

And now, to be sappy, I havn't talked to many of you in so, so long. I realize this is a medium in which a lot of the people who will read this are my older friends who I havn't talked to in well over a year, perhaps. So I talk to you~
Thank you so, so much. I love you all more than I could ever express. Many of you will never know what impact you've made on me, or how much you've helped me survive my turbulent past. I will, as always, continue to be your friends, whether we still talk or whether we havn't talked in years.
