I posed this question on Twitter yesterday and I was wondering if I could get some feedback here as well. My plan would be to do some stand alone images that are mostly pretty much sketched http://i.imgur.com/EJ7N0Kw.png . Some images are pretty tame, but most are porny. I'd be having people vote once a month on which image they'd want or I could sketch a completely new drawing based off a character from a franchise (ex: Isabelle (Animal Crossing), Boa Hancock (One Piece), Midna (Zelda), etc)
Would anyone be alright with that at all or should I just go back into doing projects?

That sounds interesting. Maybe combine by occasionally having people vote for projects? Assuming you don't already do that.

Yea I have people vote for projects right now. I was thinking of implementing both but I'm worried it might be too much work a month.

Perhaps alternate. One month do a project, another month do a full colour piece?

OP
That's possible too! I just don't want people to have to wait too long for a comic page and if I extend it like that it'll take a really long time for the whole comic to be posted ;u;

Fair. Maybe.. complete the comic, do a couple months where you work on coloured pieces instead.. Then back to another comic?

Well the idea with getting funded a page per month is to make the money that I would make if I sold it digitally since I'm going to be offering it to the public for free. If I were to complete a comic and post the entire thing in a month and only receive a 100$ payout I would end up losing money, if that makes sense. I think I wanted to do some pinup stuff to get more interest since I've been on such a long hiatus from Patreon and then jump back into doing projects.

Oh no, I don't mean like, do the entire thing in a month. I mean, complete a comic project over how ever many months you'd like, then take a break before starting another one. Or even maybe a month break in the middle of a comic, just to change things up?

OP
Oooh, alright sorry I misunderstood. Yea that could do something like that.

I typically don't tend to venture into diverting funds into patreon unless there's a direct incentive to do so. :X
