I've got prom tonight.

Yup, tonight's my prom night. I'm not really one of those people who thinks 'prom is the most magical night of my life it must be perfect!' like not at all. I just think prom's a fun night out, that's it. I don't have a date, I'm spending it with my friend from the mock trial team who is a girl but we aren't goi as a date, just as friends. (We both are aromantic so neither of us have any interest in dating anyone)
That's cool, I hope you had a lot of fun. Also, totally agree with you about proms not being the most magical night of our lives. From experience, high school was NOT the funnest years of my life. I was happy to get the heck out of there. I look back at the people who told me that as a kid and think, "Really? What about the rest of your life? Your life must suck for you to say that."

It was fun, they had slushies, a dance floor and kareokee, I sang Love Myself by Hailee Steinfeld and Tonight is the Night by Outasight.
