On the matter of Kelo/Zack

So I've had some people contact me over what's going on with the family and I just have to say, be respectful and leave them in peace.
I did date Kelo years ago. I've been best friends with one of his brothers for years before that and we still are pretty good friends. I lived in Virginia for a year and I know the family decently well.
Kelo and I ended on a sour note, but I'm not here to bash him. Because why I left him is exactly what landed him here. He is a sweet guy, a white Knight. He would give you his last penny AND the clothes on his back if he thought you needed them. He is meek and timid, and has this very childlike presence and personality. Leaving his phone at home is COMPLETELY normal. I always had to scold him and bully him into taking his phone with him when he would head over to Chesapeake to pick me up for the weekend. He has numbers mentally memorized. He isn't glued to his phone like the rest of the world.
Regardless of how the media is painting this timid little field mouse, he is just that. Just this white Knight who decided to leave and rescue a princess he thought needed help.
All of the logs and her profiles have her saying she's 18+, regardless of how she looked, that was how she was presenting herself. I know people who are almost in their 40's who look my age. Hell, people confuse me for at least 5 years younger than I am, often younger than that. You can't judge by looks with all the jacked up hormone problems people have these days. He has been catfished. He will suffer and he shouldn't have to and the girl will get off free from all of this. She may not even feel any guilt or remorse. In ten years, he will still be the one to suffer not his, she will be off doing her own thing.
I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy, much less such a timid little mouse that doesn't even squeak much. He doesn't deserve what's happening. He made a mistake and was misled. I really wish there was something I could do to help him, regardless of how much of a bitter asshole I am when it comes to my ex's.
I'm hoping speaking out on any kind of platform will help in the tiniest bit, and since it's all blowing up here, and the Fandom is where I heard it from, that I would speak out here.
If you don't know the man keep your mouth shut and don't try to have a say when you don't know a thing. Considering how the media has been treating things lately they have probably painted him out to be a monster, when the dumdumb is completely opposite of that.
Tl;Dr he's a timid little mouse and an idiot but nothing more. Respect his family during this terrible time.
