I always had a headcanon that Isabelle from Animal Crossing and the previous mayor were in love but she was abused by him, and that's why she's so nervous and shy when interacting with the player. I can't find any digimon episodes anywhere, but I would watch the hell out of it if I could.

Hmm, interesting theory! Would Tortimer do that though? He seems nice... But was Tortimer even the previous mayor? He was in the previous games, but that is a different town, maybe the previous mayor was not tortimer and he resigned because of feeling guilty about isabelle. Maybe the mayor you replaced had something to do with it, who knows! Cool theory.

I honestly forgot about Tortimer, but I can almost guarantee he was not the previous mayor in New Leaf. Actually, the full thing is, Punchy helped Isabelle come forward to the police, and the old mayor skipped town in order to try and avoid getting arrested.

Yeah, it's worth it, you can always delete each series after you are done with it if you don't plan on watching it again. It's all in japanese and subtitled, which I hope you don't mind, I am not a fan of subs myself, but the Saban dub butchered it to hell and back, and the Asian English dub is better but terribly acted and nearly impossible to find. The japanese version is really good anyway, even if you have to deal with reading. Most of my stories are based on Adventure, so you should be able to get them pretty well from watching the first series. All the others are good too, but some is better than others, you have over 300 episodes and 9 moves in that torrent so it should keep you busy for a while, lol.

Still, Isabelle thing sounds cool, could make a good fanfic someday.

I'll think about it! I don't know what I would write with isabelle though, and I am having problems right now with writer's block and having more commissions than I can handle. Still, if I ever come up with a cool isabelle idea i'll let you know.
