I've been using Telegram for a while now, and it pretty much replaced Skype for text chatting for me. It also doesn't drain my battery while I'm out on mobile, heh. I've heard good things about Discord, but I haven't tried it myself. I do know it does both voice and text, so if you voice chat a lot, it may be worth looking into.

telegram is more widely use but discord is great for vocal communication. I mostly use telegram, skype sucks a lot D:

never liked telegram for requiereing a mobile phone. Discort im not to happy about either. As it not support by the client software of my choose.

So the main thing remains to be skype because there like everyone i know on there.

Personally I like th eold messaingers like AIm and Yim the most.
