^.^ If you can read this, you deserve a cookie ^.^Every now and then, there's a movie that pops up and everyone talks about it. It gets a lot of attention, references are made and it just enters the popular consciousness seemingly overnight. And, as in my case, it can take a while before you get a chance to see it for yourself and, when you do, you just see what all the fuss was about.
For me, that movie was Napoleon Dynamite. I just didn't get it. I finished the movie asking myself "What the hell was that? I just sat down and wasted 90 minutes of my life."
Has anyone else had a movie like that in their experience? And if so, what movie was it?

Yeah that was definetly 90 minutes i wouldn't get back again. I feel the same way about Scary Movie (oh look, a penis. Hur Hur Blerg), the Fast and the Furious movies, the Sharknado franchise and a lot of other big pop culture hits. Don't get me wrong, i'm not going hipster here and just dismissing things because they're popular, it's just that my tastes and this era's trends don't seem to match up.
