And like that a dream dies
before going to work, literally just prior to walking out the door. I received a call from the people who employed me to Blizzard. I was told my services where no longer needed.
I have moved half way cross the country, I sold off the major majority of my possessions and watched some of my precious ones destroyed all to live out this dream of working for a company I have idolized for over a decade.
I asked why, my performance was very good, one of the best in the class, my attendance was the same. So.....why....? because I broke a policy....I asked which. their answer was, I broke one and I was being insubordinate. No further details where given. I am beside myself at the moment. I planned out everything around this job I was supposedly promised full time work till August then there was decision time if I moved up in the company.
No I find myself unemployed in a new state, after the UPS disaster where my TV and Monitors and computer where smashed to bits, I had to spend what was left of my savings trying to get back to status quo, which shouldn't have been a problem because I was pulling in a good amount of money from being stably employed.
What hurts the most is I really liked this job, I was good at it, I could be me there, I went to work in leggings or a cute dress and everyone was super awesome about it.
I might be MIA for a bit as I sort things out.

Sounds like fate had some other kind of plans for you. It's such a crappy deal when it deals out punishments for veering away from guides that only it knew about to begin with. At least, that is how I've come to see life. It's like there's this path to follow that's been pre-laid out. But, some times, an alternate path is there to choose. May have had some kind of 'Wrong way. Do not enter' signs posted. But, maybe those were behind an overgrown shrubbery. Now, as you venture down the wrong path, bad things keep happening. It's a very cruel, yet mystical thing to behold. Truthfully, it's just as easy a thing to shrub off as being a foolish observation. As we all carve out our own paths and there's no such thing as a destiny. All comes down to having faith or not in select things, I suppose. Alas, it's sounding to me like you went for what seemed like the best thing and it defied your pre-determined fate. Now, fate is dishing out the punishments. Or maybe it's just life being life.
Here's hoping that your destiny gets back on track and you have nothing but clear and sunny days from here on out.
