well i'm there. i'm the not very exciting looking really old guy wearing a green shirt, the kind with a nerd pocket, and a bunch of badges from previous cons on a sting of malachite beads. usually sitting somewhere, usually by myself. occasionally hugging someone if the want to be. well actually i don't look as old as i am. i'm just as not very active as i am old though. mostly going to panels and stuff like that. if i'm not sitting down somewhere i'm probably looking for somewhere to sit down. totally as not very exciting as my 3d stuff of the kind of world i'd rather live in. well it is a furry world. that's why i'm there.
been there since thursday, from around noon or an hour or so before, to around 7 or 8 in the evening, then i catch the bus home, as i didn't get a room this year.
actually i've noticed the average age of furrys seems to be aging too. i remember when it was mostly teens and twentys, now its a LOT of 30s and 40s and even a few visibly older then i am and i'm the uphill side of my 60s.
of course in suit all that disappears, but suits are for rich people any more, and i'm not. (the cool kind of rich people, or not so rich people who spend everything they have on them. like if i didn't have anything else i'd like to be able to spend on, i could probably just barely afford to commission one. but i do.)
