Anyone else feel like this is all getting pointless?

I mean, i've been on here a long time. It's nothing but the same thign over and over again now. I'll never be as popular as I once was, I'll never be a good writer again. I think it's time I just throw in the towel. Any thoughts?
While it is what you want it to be in some ways, I believe it's best thought of as "mutual art therapy":
People make stuff that is whatever the hell they want, and if others like it, then great, if not, then hey, you still made something that's meaningful to you.
