Darwyn Cooke was an award-winning comic book author and animator, who was renowned for his work on several comics such as "DC: The New Frontier" (which was adapted into the animated movie), "The Spirit" and the graphic novel adaptation of Donald E. Westlake's novel "The Hunter". He was also known as storyboard artist for "Batman: The Animated Series" and "Superman: The Animated Series" and head animator of the opening sequence for "Batman Beyond".
