Words from a nomadic drifter
I need to vent a bit, sorry guys.
It's been quite a long and rough week. I had been living with one other person in the bunk house that I'm staying in. It was nice, I had my side of the house and they had theirs. Unfortunately that all changed last weekend when three more seasonals moved in. So, originally I was promised my own room when I took the job, but since the other bunk houses were not finished (they are still working on them still), I have to share a room. I thought I'd be cool with it but my brain decided otherwise. My anxiety spiked and insomnia kicked in. Also I discovered that I'm allergic to marijuana smoke or whatever my roommate was smoking in our bathroom (which is attached directly to our room) and had an allergic reaction wooh! Normally I'm pretty cool with people smoking whatever, just not in the room which I am sleeping in. My roomie was supposed to refrain from smoking in the bathroom, but still does it anyways. Luckily she does it earlier in the evening when I'm out surveying, and it mostly airs out before I get home. That's why I'm still sitting in my office, watching webinars waiting for the room to air out haha. I still get a slight reaction but I only have to deal with it for two more nights. Which yay I'm moving into a house! Well renting a room and house/dog sitting for the summer. So this vent ends on a positive note. Art will be posted once FA gets their site up and steady again. I'll be posting another journal with links where to find me in case FA really does kick the bucket.
