I have managed to survive another year! Although yesterday managed to feel like that was in question. I'm taking today off, fortunately. I'm planning on getting chores done so I can spend the weekend relaxing! People have given me some awesome gifts already, books and sculptures, high-end video game controller - I really appreciate this, my family doesn't really do gifts anymore so birthdays tend to usually be a bit of a non-event unless I do my usual trip to hang with folks in California.
