Dreams - Night of May 27, 2009

Lions make you brave, giants give you faith ...
I had the craziest dreams last night ... There are big gaps between them, so forgive me if they make no sense.
Well, what I remember of the first part ...
It was night, the stars were clear and bright. I strongly recall a baseball diamond, that may have been empty or full of people, but no one was playing baseball. Now that I think about it, it actually looked like the baseball diamond next to the waterpark near where I grew up.
There was some sort of celebration going on, something like Canada Day or the 4th of July. I vaguely remember fireworks. I was wearing the dress I wore to my graduation last year, a long green, blue and white tie-dye number with a double criss-cross back.
I don't remember how I came to find it, but there was a kind of ... pillar of rock coming out of the ground, a few feet taller than me, with an entrance to a stone staircase that led into the ground. The rock was a lovely grey, carved with strange runes and symbols I didn't understand, slightly luminescent blue.
I walked down the staircase, which spiralled far down into the ground. It ended in a large stone cavern where the walls were lit by the same glowing carved symbols, which shone much brighter here. The entire floor was covered with still water, like an underground pool, but the water was somehow ... more ... dense ... than regular water. It reflected the glow of the symbols on the walls beautifully. All throughout the water were platforms and pillars made of the same carved stone. It all had some sort of intricate pattern to it.
On the other side of the cavern, my lover was crouching on one of the platform stones, with his fingers in the water. His head was lowered, watching the ripples that radiated out from his fingers. I couldn't see his face. The ripples never seemed to get weaker or more faint. They just pulsed out from his fingertips with unending energy, until they reached the platform where I stood, and they broke.
I stayed where I was, and he looked up at me. His eyes were clear, and he looked surprised at first. And then his expression changed to one of deepest longing. His fingers never left the water.
The dream changed here, and I remember even less of this one ...
It took place in a fancy hotel. I know my friends Shelley (
xxpeekabooxx), Nikki (her sister), and their mother Lorraine were there, among other people I can't recall. The entire colour scheme of the hotel seemed to revolve around beige and navy blue.
Me and Shelley ended up walking along the outer edges of the windows (which were, for some reason, in a scary wooden corridor) looking for our room. We went into the wrong room, one with bunkbeds and a television playing, and quickly backed out.
The last section of the dream ...
I was at a school, probably a high school, but I was hated, and no one wanted to be near me. A condescending girl with long curly brown hair and too much make-up came up to me and told me "You can stay in another room, since you're not welcome here." She led me to a large room with red and black panneling, surrounded by a black chain link fence from ceiling to floor. She said, "You notice the panelling? That is ideal for most torture chambers."
The door was open, and when I stuck my head in the room to look, I noticed a plethora of black iron torture devices in the back corner which I hadn't noticed before. I specifically remember an Iron Maiden.
I withdrew my head quickly, looked at the girl, panicky, and told her to fuck off. That I was not staying in that room. She tried to push me in, so I choked her out with the choke hold that I recently learned in jiu jitsu ...
So yeah ... that's it. Just had to put this somewhere. Haven't had dreams that vivid in a while.

Have you translated it much yet?
anyways, sweet dreamscapes, some parts sound oddly familiar...the room full of water sounds just like how I envision the inside of the water temple to look. trippeh shiz. Oh, nevermind, the water temple is not grey, it's like, goldy-sand colors. but still.
I have a good idea what the first one means ... or, at least, ideas.
From what I can tell of the first part (Which is the only one i've thought about in any length), I think the celebration, fireworks, and the night lit with bright stars means that the time that me and JImmy are going to be apart is comeing to a close... I also had this dream the night he told me I was coming to his grad. Could also be my subconcious pride and happiness about that. I also think that because I was wearing my grad dress.
The stone entrance was something magical in an altogether mundane surrounding, and yet I stepped into it without any sense of fear or indecision. I think that means that I don't know what going to happen, but I'm not afraid of it.
The staircase led me down into a private, calm place, where Jimmy was, but he wasn't waiting specifically for me. It was more like he was just ... part of it. Part of the earth. Like he belonged there, and I had found him... I always think that he belongs more with the earth than with people. I guess that was a mental interpretation of that belief.
We stood on opposite sides of the cavern, far apart, but his energy, in the form of the ripples on the water, still reached me. I couldn't touch him. That .... should be obvious, to you at least, in meaning. LOL
And when he looked at me, his expression just ... fell. He looked like he was in pain. That should also be obvious to you, since you know so much about this whole thing with us. XD
Wow .... yeah, i guess that's my interpretation of THAT.
That took twenty minutes to write. GAWD.
just reminded me of that. I like to think that I am never that far from anyone... distance is only a petty variable when you step into the energy world. If only I could keep that state of mind more often..*sigh*
anyways, sweet dreams.
