Back to seriousness:
My sincerest apologies for my very long and unintentional absence. I hope I haven't worried anyone too greatly.

To offer a brief explanation: Given my habit of rumination, some of my negative experiences on FA and in the community were causing me discomfort and stress. I stopped checking in less frequently, and eventually stopped altogether. Life got in the way for a while, and the anxious thoughts and sour taste in my mouth kept me away for even longer.

While I may not have much new work that I'd like to offer, hopefully I can reassure everyone here that I'm still alive and kicking.
