UH oH Another Journal thingy bewaare

With FA being a total trainweck and no longer trusting them with my information I'm gonna spend more time on other sites.
I get they're working realllly hard and I respect that, but to my understanding the site's security was awfully patchy, and it was a hack that was easily preventable, that other rival sites had discovered and fixed many days prior. This, and many, many stories I've heard from veterans and ex-staff of FurAffinity having problems in the past, I don't feel comfortable spending time here anymore. I don't know how much truth is but the fandom has reared as a majority against FA and I'm taking it with a pinch of salt.
Also theres saying there's some law that FA hasn't adhered to because of the breach? Something about notifying all users by email, alerting of the breach, for those who may have left and not be aware that their information is at risk.
If they get their game on properly maybe I'll spend more time here. I'll lurk as I do, but I'm going to start concentrating on other sites.
