What's not actual ok is to try to make people stay, especially using a very weak ass excuse of "the internet is vulnerable to hackers"...

The reason its weak is cause many websites are then tasked to handle and secure their site to minmalize attacks...many which can.
Heck the Idola clan thinks for once we are lucky to be owned by IMVU as we may have gotten a worst outcome if they didn't get involved.
