I really think everyone who says they'll leave FA come back anyways or don't even leave at all, it's just most people are indeed here and tryna move this whole basis would be either too difficult as well as too lavish tbh, wanna see where this really goes

actually moving to furry network is incredibly easy.

for example. you can import from FA your pictures. your follows, and even the people WHO FOLLOW you! like wow!"

so as for it being a "hassle" no.

not to mention unlike FA they actually seem to know what their doing. they put time and effort into making a site
that has a clean layout, a great upload system, simple to use site layout. and most importantly a blacklist sections for tags.

wish to never see scat or vore ever again? just blacklist the words that have to do with it. and BAM it's gone!

honestly I remember when weasyl was a thing. and yeah it was a decent effort.

but with big names like Cheetahpaws, Narse, Nullghost, etc etc IT has a much better chance of becoming the next big thing


right now FA thinks it's too big to fall. but just remember this

I like your way of arguing, you've got some really good points, indeed the tag system here is a quite big failure, but what if people that are here don't have furry network like e.g. me are they still added automatically?

And No. but if they get a FurryNetwork account. it will as long as you and them link your accounts. which is rather simple.
go to import data, put your account and password in, and click the the option boxes

the options are as followed

Checking this box will import your FurAffinity.net avatar to your FurryNetwork character profile.

ARTWORK
Checking this box will import all of your digital artwork from your FurAffinity.net account.

REIMPORT DELETED
Checking this box will cause artwork that has previously been imported and deleted to be imported again.

FOLLOWS
Checking this box will import all of your Watches from your FurAffinity.net account and automatically follow them on FurryNetwork when they connect their accounts.

It was perfect because I didn't need to find and re-follow those I wish to see the art of. I just instantly watched them!
and if Kenta moves over It will have me instantly follow him too :D

Gotcha, but which box do you have to check so that every former watcher of yours is added again? Also, isn't the risk high that, just because it's very probably that not everyone will move to FN , that it'll die out since there is just not such a big base as here? Sure, at the beginning they'll have some new that joined but their accounts may get inactive such as may inkbunny or SoFurry accounts. What do you think? I mean, FA was practically the first on the field and thus the most popular, tho MySpace didn't even tried to improve itself amd therefore died out.

FN is a very professional feeling site. not to mention its simpler.

and simple is good.


and honestly. with FA's hypocritical admins, poor system, and well. fragile code. I think most are fed up with FA

weasyl seems like it threw out the site and expected people to flood over. where as FA listens and actually tries to listen and figure out what to do based on ideas.

where as FA just kinda does whatever it feels.

To make things a bit more structured:
1) Interesting point, where do you take your information that FA ain't professional, sure, it's prone to attacks, but maybe just because it's in focus of everyone since it's the biggest of its kind? Maybe FN would get attacked too when it replaced FA?

2) Ah, yeah, simplicity, I can agree here, the design and interface of FA is nicely said old fashioned

3) Fragile, nice formulation xD Though that are speculations and opinions by your own point of view, maybe it's true, maybe it isn't.

4) I think you wanted to say FN here, but maybe now with the recent... problematics and difficulties on FA the admins try to improve the site now as well, though those are speculations by my side as well, gotta admit xD

5) Here, in my opinion, you're polarizing

yeah the phone version of the site needs work. but hey bring that up to the creators as it is in beta. and they actually listen to people.
