In any case I was mostly referring to the fact that what people enjoy in RP, art, etc doesn't necessarily mean they enjoy those things IRL.
Hell, it may be something that they don't fetishize at all and I don't know, heaven forbid be apart of an ongoing STORY or background for a character. <crowd gasps>

The way the fandom treats it, if you draw/write something or aren't vehemently against it [whatever thing is disgusting this week], then you automatically support and fetishize it to an unhealthy extent.
This black and white all or nothing attitude makes me extremely disappointed in a lot of people who are unable to look at an issue from any angle but their own biased perspective, as well as deaf to it.
