My thoughts on website problems
The users here tell a lot about website safety and complain.
There are simple facts: furry fandom always will be target for haters, so is the website and it's content. When attack happened website went offline for a time. I believe the staff did awesome job to put it back online and they did it quickly. That's their job.
And then people started bitching about their lost password problem and the fact the attack happens from time to time. So, why not to go somewhere else maybe there won't be a problem. Maybe haters will follow I say. And then attack happens to the next website. The experience tells me there's no security that cannot be broken so it's matter of time the attack repeats itself in the future. Do you know that banking service websites are attacked too and they have much better security than image sharing page? People keep money in online banking accounts and people risk more because it's their money at stake.
To have account somewhere else is good option. I believe it's common sense but it needs more attention to check it and maintain the other account but it's everyone's problem and their choice.
And the password problem. When I create account I write website address, login, password and email in a paper notebook. That's the way I still have password that is over 8 years old and even an email attached to it. Simple trick and it works fine. Even if my computer crashes someday I still have all my passwords. If someone cannot do fucking writing or do some backup then what can they do more than creating new account and start from a scratch? That's important for an artist to have their followers and all those porn uploaded here and it is trouble to put it back. If people cannot use their head they have to learn through their sweat and work. The simple trick would save your time. Consider doing some kind of backup your passwords for the future. That's best advice I can give you.
Moving to other website because the website is being under attack.
Why all you people complain, why you back down under the massive hate and why do you run? You cannot run forever.
You have to be smarter. When someone picks on you on the sidewalk you don't abandon your house and move out.
If anyone cares yet, show your support for the website which was your good adventure for years.
Edit:
Responsibility for your account safety is not only website owner responsibility but the user's too.

FA+

Ja do najważniejszych i głównie używanych przeze mnie stron też mam pozapisywane hasła itp.
