Hei Peeps!
So, as of recently I got a call for a job position that I've quite coveted, but the position is only open for one person and the competition was....pretty tight. Just had the interview this morning and it came off...pretty intense for me. Good intense, I guess, because there was a lot of discussion and feedback to and fro. But still...intense.
I've been trying to draw and catch up on some art stuff but this...well, I guess it held be back a little. ACK. I do not like being held back, but I also know forcing things will prove pointless.
So....I need a distraction...something fun! So I thought, maybe a little random "Ask my OCs" questions would be nice. I do love sharing my character backgrounds and ideas, and am happy to answer any questions people might have of them :D
No creepy/overly-sexualized/rude comments and questions tho. Cos. Like. No. I won't answer those >><<;
So far Reika and Haven are my main OCs that you see, but I have a few more that I haven't drawn yet. I have them, so you can ask me about those as well ^^

HAVEN!! What do you do for a living, if you don't mind me asking? :3
Eheeheheeee Haven is......a merc, a "Sword/Gun-for-Hire". The world he officially comes from is broken and a bit post-apocalyptic, so he gets odd jobs from people who need help. From rescuing to delivering parcels, he will do it because he wants to help and protect people. It's befitting his name "Haven" which means a "safe and peaceful place." :)

Reika's favourite weather is....dappled and cloudy, with a little sun and plenty of breezes! She also loves the kind of time just after it finishes raining, where the air is crisp and everything is dewy. She will never admit it, but she still dances into puddles like an overgrown kit xD
...and Haven with Reika's hair?

Reika would look pretty tomboy-ish and she would run and hide. Haven would still be looking in the mirror and squeezing the buns.

When I went to my last job interview which involved competition, well there's not much you can do really. Just be yourself and be honest, and if it works it works. There are factors that we can not control.

I've got some questions for miss Reika.
So Reika is a single tailed kitsune / red fox mix, any reason for this combo?
Does she then follow the traditional lore associated with the mischief makers of Japan?
Reika, what species does she herself like?
Is there anything that Reika likes so much she locks up a bit when spoken to about it?

* Reika is a pure kitsune-- just a red-fox variant! But she isn't single-tailed, she has six tails in total. She just prefers to keep it to one for now cos its easier to walk around with. Also, six-tails is intimidating to customers of her tea house haha
* In her official/canon world-- one similar to Meiji/Revolutionary Era Japan-- kitsune are simply another race alongside humans. They aren't generally mischief-makers, but more traditionalist and nature-bound. Hence Reika being more "druid" than impish joker ;)
* Lol, this question made me think...no, Reika has no favourite species that she likes. She is pretty open-hearted (though a rabid commitment-phobe haha)
* Locks up when you speak of it? Perhaps nature-- flowers, especially, as she is protective of them. Oh and JEWELRY. Lol, bait her with jewels (opals and lavender jade do this trick best) and you will have her very interested!
* DAAWWWW you made the vixey blush haha X'D I chose green because it reflects her strong affinity to plants/flora, as well as her serpentine nature. Gentle and serene mostly, but venomous and vindictive if provoked.
* XD XD Her tea-house is in the outskirts of a typical Japanese-type city, near the most travel-worn paths. Just look for the small wooden hut with many wind-chimes and heavy with the scent of hydrangeas and spider-lilies and you're there!
