Important: My artwork for the future!
Hello! As you may have noticed, those of you who watch me anyway, I've not gotten around to drawing anything for.. uh.. quite some time. Half a year, just abouts?
In any case, I'm sorry for holding out on you guys and hope you'll forgive me even if I do this for juuuust a little longer!
I want to draw, I really do, but uh.. well, there are three main reasons as to why I've not been making any new works, even though I've got tons of things I want to draw.
They are:
#1: I've been sorta demotivated about my current artstyle and my lighting in particular.
#2: I've had to take a long break from most things furry anyway due to work, saving up and gaining a stable life-platform!
#3: My tablet is shit and is just a breath away from total annihilation.. so I need a new one.
The tablet I've decided I want is a very expensive one, so I'm not gonna get it immediately. By slowly saving up, I'll eventually get it.
You guessed it! A WACOM CINTIQ! But uhh, it's no surprise to any of yas if I say "That shit costs more than my monthly salary!", aye?
So stay tuned! Wuff'll come back and do his shittoz with ya'll eventually! c:
GONNA SAVE UP DAT CASHOLA, BOYO!

I had no clue something like that existed at all, man!
Any chance I could ask you to provide a link, perchance?

Can also find them on Amazon if you'd prefer there.
there's a bunch good reviews on youtube for them

Man, this looks pretty good, though I was getting reaaaaaally annoyed at the constant "um"ing in the video, sheesh! o3o
Went through a few other bits of info and stuff, so I'm mostly covered, but there are a few more questions I'd like to ask if you're okay with that? :>
Like, does the tablet have a battery life or must it be plugged into your laptop/PC to be used? Either is fine, but I didn't catch it.
You said you oen one yourself, is that the 22HD one? Would the 22HDX be overspending, y'think?
I've got the HD, mine is about 4 years old now and uses a battery powered pen, but the HDX pen uses a powerless battery like the Cintiqs do and is just an all round improvement from the HD from what I'm looking at.
lastly, yeah it needs to be plugged into the PC/laptop, it doesn't act as a standalone drawing tool although that would be cool.
If I buy this, though, I'll be able to get back into biz much faster, and I'll have you to thank for that! :D
I'm highly tempted, but I'm hearing things like "glass screen" and "buttons don't always work" etcetera, so I dunno what I should do. :1
Any tips for a confused person? Maybe a JUST DO IT would work..
I'd say you wouldn't regret it if you got it and would probably, for a while, see no reason to upgrade to the Cintiq until maybe the next series were released and/or you were suddenly rolling in the dosh. Go for the HDX, its worth it to save yourself a thousand dollars.
Thanks for this, man! ;3;
I'm not very good at finding things out on my own, so you saved my hide here~
#1 is a big one and it's always good to be aware and critical of your style and growth, but it's also a tricky catch 22 of sorts to not get so far that way that you kinda lose the 'oomph'. For what it's worth several artists I know have had splendid success digging around some Tutorials.. Seegmiller's, for example, are fuckin' beautiful for non-humanoid art and creatures and he has some tutorials and demos right on his site! One artist I know used one of the tutorials for frothing bestial monsters with spit in order to make their jizz look better.. :D
There's also tons of (kinda pricy) tutorials at the various art sites, like conceptart.org has some and whatnot, and sites like that also have some really great community efforts, like forum-based weekly draw threads where you post and everyone works together to critique and improve.. And there's always Gnomon workshop too, which again are pricey but y'know.. yo ho ho and a bottle of rum and all that!
