01. What is your pen name?
Aspen.
02. What made you choose this name?
That's kind of a long story, actually. I had two versions of an older character of mine, one for a story and one that I used for my avatar (that's what we called them back then). A friend wanted to write a story based on actual people and wanted to use that character as me. So to distance it a bit from the original the name was changed (to Aspen) and his was appearance altered slightly. Then she never actually wrote the story but I decided I was a lot more like Aspen than the other character, so I adopted the changes.
03. Do you use PC or Mac?
Mac, but I don't have that much of a preference really. I only have it cause my tech-loving grandfather got a new one >>;
04. What programs do you use most often?
For...art? Photoshop. But I want to try Painter. Other than that, iTunes I guess?
05. Do you use mouse, or tablet?
Tablet for actual coloring, etc. But I alternate depending on what I'm doing.
06. What color or color combinations do you find yourself using most often?
Gray and blue >>;
07. What part of a picture do you put most effort into?
The clothes, sadly |3
08. How long does it take you do draw a picture?
I sketch pretty quick, 15-20 minutes, if that. Coloring takes a few hours.
09. Do you keep your rough drafts?
They're...somewhere.

11. When you scan your image, what DPI do you use?
That is a magnificent question.
12. Do you do anything else when you're drawing?
I have a hard time drawing if I don't at least have a song stuck in my head. Sometimes I watch TV, but usually just when I'm coloring.
13. Approximately how many pictures do you draw in a month?
Do doodles on my notes count? Cause those usually have more drawings than words ._.;
I cycle between writing a lot and drawing a lot, so I can't really answer this question.
14. What kind of paper do you draw your pictures on?
Cardstock occasionally, otherwise I like the Academie sketchbooks.
15. What kind of paper do you use for rough sketches and drafts?
If I do any of those then it could be anything from sketchbook pages to scrap paper to notebooks...
16. How long does it take you to ink something?
A little bit longer than it does to draw, since I tend to add more details at that point. I'm pretty fast at inking too, so.

I try to.
18. Do you like comics? Are they fun to make?
I enjoy reading and writing them, drawing takes a lot more effort/motivation >>;

My two favorite cartoon series of ever are Animaniacs and Courage the Cowardly Dog >>; I'm that cool, really.

I wish I could color like lots of people, yeah.

A long time ago, probably. But I don't think they helped...

Lots. My favorite game of all time is the original Final Fantasy Tactics. I tend to play rpgs but recently I'm getting into shooter hybrids like Bioshock and Fallout 3.

Fox McCloud ranks way up there. Not the Assault version, though.

Neil Gaiman and Ted Dekker.
