I work decently under pressure but I block out things that might distract me. Unfortunately this is one of them.

I'm not actively reading comments/ notes because I'm trying to stay focused on catching up and for me that means taking things on one at a time. I came off of a long trip and fatigue set in and I've only recently recovered. I am indeed working on things though and I have been handing them out on a regular basis for weeks. The problem is that, well, every time I read a new message about owed art I make a time table that I don't know I can stick to or I have to deal with someone who wants to push their work to the front and to me that's unproductive because it makes me juggle things around which ultimately makes me take longer to finish everything off.

So instead I'm taking messages on as my work flow will allow.

I get the reason why you do it. I'm like the wind and I had a bad tendency to go away for long periods of time and you're worried I might go away again. Plenty have been handed out already and more is coming soon. It did slow down in the last few weeks but that's mainly because of book/ print stuff got in the way but I have resumed and works are coming in. I'm just not posting them because well, every time I do a new influx of messages come in.

And it's not like I have a lot of owed works. It's just that I have a list of works I've owed for a long time that I'm trying to rectify. I am not a good person to commission but I really am doing the best I can right now. I just suck. It's why I haven't any outside of auctions in a very long time. The YCHs I did recently were to help me get through my travels but for the immediate future I have no plans to do any more because I'm focusing purely on owed works here.

Hope that alleviates concerns somewhat. I know I answered a few notes already and gave short term time tables that I wasn't able to keep (again) but others I already have and more are going to be finished soon. I just gotta catch up on regular work and then I'll have more time again~
