Update!
I officially started a new teaching job at the beginning of June. It’s tiring as heck, and at the opposite side of the capital from where I live, but I love it so far!
The daily work is what I’m already familiar with, plus I’m facing new challenges and experiences that I can tell are potentially rewarding... The minus point is that my foot tendon injury may recur with all that standing/walking (look here), but I’m taking precautions like using a wheeled bag (which is working great so far), not standing through an entire class (what I habitually do), and simply carrying lighter equipment.
Also trying to swap my light notebook for an even lighter tablet, but unsure if it’ll work yet. (Samsung tabs aren’t made to interface with VGA.) I would’ve bought a Microsoft tablet, or even an iPad, if I’d known I’d need it for an LCD projector’s VGA plug.
