First off, feel free to voice your opinion, though don't expect a whole lot cause I'm not the most informed person, but i'm far from the least informed. I do watch people like Undoomed, Argon of Sakkad, Chris ray gun, Atheism-is-unstoppable, Naked Ape and thunderf00t, so I get a good bit of information from them.
Yes, i'm gonna start off with the orlando shooting as it's the biggest and most current event. It has most definitely affected people and in more ways than one. First off, this is the biggest terrorist attack since 9/11 and it's said that 50 were killed (including the killer) and 53 were injured. There's also been mentioning of a veteran who did his best to help ( link here: http://goo.gl/i9TTaQ ) and he has my gratitude for doing what I wish I could've. This guy had killed so many people and it just baffles in several ways. Some of the information I get from Tumblr, which has shown two things that I want to bring up. One is that a gay man was brought to a show to explain the events and the two anchors (or w/e) were what I think trying to sweep some things under the rug while the gay man was on full assault with saying that this was a muslim and he committed a immense attack on homosexuals.
Yes, this was an attack on homosexuals, this man had clearly shown animosity towards people like me and from what I've briefly read, he was also on the FBI's list relating to guns and had been reported expressing his hate towards homosexuals. As if I needed anymore reason to loathe religion and the aspects people have on it, this guy has truly done what I thought was unlikely and killed dozens of people in the name of ISIL. Remember back when I mentioned about the news people trying to belittle the whole thing? The second part that I want to bring up was that I've just read this post on tumblr ( http://nevaehtyler.tumblr.com/post/.....ned-burlington ) and this is now one of the few reasons why I no longer support Bernie. He's is belittling the matter that this man had killed 49 and injured more and saying this guy does not represent his religion. His fucking religion advocates death to homosexuals! His line of reasoning would be more okay if this religion has not expressed OVER AND OVER that killing homosexuals is okay, and not to mention all the other fucked up things that Islam advocates and teaches. There are people out there that say we should just focus on the homophobia here, but no, we need to down on EVERYTHING. If it weren't for that religion, these people never would have died; if it weren't for these people, many women wouldn't be suffering every waking moment in the middle east; if it weren't for all this.. honestly I can't say because things may seem brighter if these things would never have happened but one cannot tell how bright. What I mean is that I can't say just how good it would be if those things have not happened because the past cannot change, but what can change is the future.
I'm sure i'm just running off from fumes at this point, feeling mentally tired already. Though I do want to mention another reason behind why I'm losing trust in Bernie. This video from Naked Ape has given me doubt in Bernie's standings and makes me believe he isn't as good as what people say he is. I totally appreciate for what he did back then, but now he seems to be the figurehead for the SJW rather than a legitimate good candidate. For any one who stands with me on this, if you happen to have any more evidence of Bernie's bad moves, please show me because I REALLY want to know if this is the kind of guy I want put my trust on. Ever since seeing that video, I have actually considered voting for the Green Party candidate Dr. Jill cause I at least know more of her standings and approve of them 100% (at least so far). I know Jill far less than Bernie, so if there's even evidence of her having done wrong, please let me know. I want to know the good AND bad of these people because no one is truly perfect.
Now that that's out of the way, there is one more thing I want to bring up. Along with all of this, I've seen this one man in particular who is called milo yiannopoulos and I really respect this guy. He is like the anti-christ to SJWs and has been on this trip to many of the biggest universities and colleges to provide facts. I have no doubt that this guy actually gives FACTS, which of course make the SJWs scream and shrivel as if they were demons that just got doused in holy water. His actions have brought out a lot of hate from SJWs and from this, it shows just how fucking messed up these people are. When I mean SJW, I mean both feminism AND BLM. I used to totally be with BLM back when it was just about police harassing black people, but having seen more that just the shit they pull, I've seen that BLM is far from the equality they preach about.
For people who disagree on me about this, let me ask you. Everyone in your group acts as part of your group; you cannot deny their actions because it gives people a negative outlook on you. If you want your group to be seen in a good light, do good deeds. Do not advocate hate against those who disagree with you. Don't be fucking racists and sexists, because it's really sad for me to say this now but for those in BLM; why are THEY the racists? Why are feminists the sexists? Why are they being the complete OPPOSITE of what they say they are? This also goes way back to what I said about Islam. Call me an islamophobe all you like, but Islam is NOT a religion of peace, far fucking from it. Please people, don't dismiss all of this because you 'just don't agree'. If you have something to say, please say it, but like what Milo is doing, this is also a bait for those who are completely in the wrong and if they are that willing to voice hate and especially so because I'm calling out this BS, I'm making sure that these people are shown so that everyone knows the bad side of these people. The side that needs to be addressed; the side that needs to stop.
For people who may not understand all of this, I'll give a little TL;DR. I love equality and I wholly advocate it. I believe that I am an egalitarian and I firmly believe in the golden rule. I am definitely anti-SJW as well.
One thing just came to mind just now. Lately I've been thinking about sex and gender and honestly, people need to stop making it such a huge deal. I understand the bathroom thing is a pretty big deal and there are young people that are trying to grasp their identities, but what I meant earlier about not making a mountain out of an ant hill is that I believe that gender is nonexistant. All there truly is is what genital you grew up with, and how you grow and act from there is all on you. I don't think we need a gender for winter, or a gender for what kind of music you like, all that just fucking sounds like you're trying to find some sort of privilege for having an interest in something. This myriad of genders is like what some people about otherkin. I find otherkin as alright, but there are some levels to it that are just.. I guess nonsensical. For these gender things, the proportion of BS and nonsensical-ness is FAR beyond that, completely delving into the realm of "Why the fuck is this even a thing? What drugs did they take to think up this shit?"
