Every Day in May - Conclusion
General
Last year, I watched as French Toast Girl made her way through Every Day in May. Her style is more developed than mine- all of her watercolors have a certain kind of line style and feeling that ties them all together. She's already done so much growing as an artist. But regardless, every day in may showed that she had such dedication to her art!
This year, I wanted to show that same dedication. I wanted to know that every day, for a whole month, I showed that same dedication. But what I got was more! By dedicating myself to creating a piece a day for the whole month of May, I feel like I've really found a comfortable, fun way to draw Abighaile and my other for-fun art. On top of that, May has made me think of so many great ideas for art projects in the future, as well as commission ideas!
Best of everything about May, I've met some really nice people during the course of the month. Meeting them has sparked trades, fun conversations, and a whole new burst of comments (my favorite things!) when I post art. It's meant the world to me! At the beginning of May, I had around 1,000 page views. Not that it's the end of May, I'm up to 1,700! You can guess, I'm sure, how good that makes me feel, to nearly double my page views in 1 month. :3
So yeah-- I'm totally psyched about all the great things that May brought around. I want to thank everyone again who's been sticking around on FA with me and commenting/noting me so frequently- that's my joy on this site. <3

I was thinking of doing a small sculpture every day in June but I don't know if I could pull it off. Did you have doubts at all about your ability complete the challenge? Or did you just give 'er hell?
DO IT. I had -so- many doubts going in. "What if something happens one day and I can't? What if I don't feel like it?" It's tough- it took a lot of pushing and dedication, but in the end, it was TOTALLY worth it and I 100% recommend it. Next year, I'm going to be trying to get a small group of people to do Everyday in May with me, too.... So don't burn yourself out too much. >:3
or every other day if you want to push yourself a bit.
