Terms of Service
Payment:
o Accepted forms of payment are through PayPal and money order.
PayPal fees are covered by commissioner.
o Payment plans may be arranged but full payment including shipping must be paid before the finished product is shipped. Payment will be discussed through notes or emails.
o Preferred payment plans are 30% to begin as a down payment and final 70% no more than two months after first payment is made. Further payment plans may be discussed through notes or emails.
o The 30% non-refundable down payment is expected before work may begin; this covers material costs and reserving a space in my queue. (The commission will not be completed until full payment has been recieved.)
o If a customer fails to complete payment, projects may be cancelled and resold. Customer will be refunded following our refund policy minus the 30% non-refundable deposit. (Some exceptions may apply due to reason cancellation/failed payment.)
**Refund Policy**
0% complete - 70% refund
25% complete - 45% refund
50% complete - 20% refund
75% complete - no refund
100% complete - no refund
Upon commissioning us, if you are having financial issues or are not happy with how the suit is coming out, you are entitled to be refunded ONLY if the suit is under 50% completed. The above explains how much you may be refunded depending on how much of the suit has been completed. This does not include the 30% nonrefundable downpay which we use to buy materials
o Customer may also be charged a late fee, if payment is several days/weeks late.
o Business is preferred to be handled with customers who are 18 years of age or older.
Customers under the age of 18 must have written parental consent.
Shipping:
o Customer is expected to pay shipping costs
o Shipping costs will be an additional fee and not added into the original fursuit quote
o Shipping will be done through USPS or FEDEX
o Items will not be shipped until the entire project including shipping is paid in full. No exceptions!
o International customers are responsible for knowing the import laws and fees of their country and must be willing to cover any customs fees.
Warranty:
o All products have a 2 yr. warranty which covers any issue which is a fault of my own. (Popped seams, missing claws, ect…) Any other damage resulting from negligence will not be covered. (Improper storage, exposure to extreme conditions, unintended use, ect…) Shipping for the return will be covered by the customer and shipping back will be covered by myself once repairs are complete.
o Warranty will be void if alterations are made by someone other than NylasakisFurredCreations, there is damage caused by improper use, storage, or cleaning, or the items transfer ownership to a third party.
o Please feel free to contact me about repairs to products even after warranty has expired. We can discuss options and prices for repairs. Please understand that products no longer under the warranty can be denied depending on the damage.
o If an item sent back to me is in unfavorable conditions, soiled, or unclean I will immediately return it at the customer’s expense.
Cancellations:
o I hold the right to cancel a commission at any time should I feel the need; refunds will be discussed based on completion of commissioned work and reason for cancellation.
o Customer cancellations or failure to complete payment will result in your commission being resold or used in separate projects. The 30% deposit will be lost.
o Payments beyond the deposit will be refunded in a timely manner by Paypal or money order should a project be cancelled.
Creation and process:
• All business will be handled preferably through email at NylasakisFurredCreations[at]yahoo.com or if needed through a Note on FA.
• Have a very clear and current image or description of the design you have in mind. I am also willing to work with ideas or artistic liberty projects. Once materials are purchased and work has started your design may not be changed.
• I will not work from images or designs of pre-existing fursuits or characters protected by copyrights. I will NOT copy other makers work!
• Duct Tape Dummies are required for full body fursuits and expected to be mailed in a reasonable time frame. Any duct tape dummy received which I am unable to work with will be thrown away and a new one will be expected at customer’s expense.
• I am happy to provide updates at the customer’s request!
• Work in progress images may sporadically be posted to any NylasakisFurredCreations gallery or media site. If the customer wishes for a project to be kept private until completion please inform me as early as possible.
• If a specific deadline is needed please inform me as early as possible! Though deadlines are not guaranteed, I will do my best to accommodate your needs! Depending on the deadline a rush order fee may be asked for.
o All finished Fursuits will be modeled and photographed for portfolios and promotional material. Character’s appearance and name may be shared publicly in portfolios, galleries, social media and promotional material.
