thats the thing, no one did
Everyone stopped at Keiji not knowing he was the artist who just drew megaman and came up with the designs in the games but the person who came up with the concept of megaman themselves was Akira Kitamura
Initial opinions on playing the game so-far... it's pretty good. Very much what I was expecting.
Also... is that the IGN review of the game? I watched their review... their "reviewer" is full of shit. Most of his complaints speak like he's never played a Megaman game before... hell, some of his complaints seem like he's never played a platform game before.
This is the perfect case of people putting on nostalgia glasses and expecting WAY too much. I am disappointed with the delays of the game... but in all honesty, I'm on the PS4, I've played the initial stage and 1 other and so-far... it controls much like a Megaman game, it's been decently difficult (especially the first boss I faced) and it certainly feels like a spiritual successor.
I honestly do not care about the "Keiji Inafune didn't create Megaman, Akira Kitamura did." and whatever... much of the wanking online currently is from those who saw the shitty Deep Silver trailer and wanting the game to fail. People are looking for nitpicks and trying to tear the game apart. Ignore the bullshit reviews and, if you were interested in the game before... if you enjoy the style of game the classic Megaman games were... do what I did and just try it for yourselves. Heck, it's only $25... I've seen a lot worse from more expensive games.
If anything, this will be a good learning experience for the company on what to improve for a sequel... and I sincerely hope there is one. My initial "review" of the game as I've seen it so-far... I'd certainly give it higher than a 5... closer to a 7 or low 8... good, not amazing... DEFINITELY not as bad as people are trying to claim.
But seeing everyone trying to demonize the game already... and after sinking my teeth into it... it's painfully obvious that the critics smell blood in the water with it being such a high-profile game. As for the average internet-goer... many of them wanted it to fail. So, everyone's being overly negative about the game when it doesn't deserve it.
just you really dont tempt megaman fans then go thru the process of burning them
Also as Idola clan say "you treat something base on how much itself was hyping itself up, its reason for being burned now is cause it failed its own hype"
If you treat it like every other megaman clone, then its decent but I grown use to playing really well done fan games these years so I been spoiled as fuck.
