Abandon character? Random thoughts?

Sometimes I have the thoughts of abandoning my character, more for the fact many artists decline outright to work with it, or charge far more... Hell in one case wanted to charge triple the cost!
I love the character but getting turned down in both free art and paid art kinda gets dull, maybe its my luck but I can never find the artists that are willing to take on a challenge these days or have become complacent with the normal of what they do and don't want to step outta their comfort zone.
There are some that do from time to time and those very few have kept me going this long

I wouldn't see it causing a price hop THAT high even still. :/
Mecha addition definitely should be marked by the artists of they would have no mention of it being "too complex" otherwise. :)
That is literally the only thing i could see as any form of price bumping though. Cuz yer character os very simple otherwise (and simple is nice thing, imo. Look at my "very commonplace stoat" as example lol)
Guess ultimately consider it "artist to avoid" like i would of they add the costs THAT high over it? :)
I vote keep the bionic million dollar husky though. ^^/ (or wolf? Think i saw husky though...*brain fail*)
personally though; i vote ya keep the awesome and fun character you've already put a lot of work into creating and making it yours. :) (though i also have a hard time ever parting with a character/design i made.)
You should not change your sona because of others, I am sure their are lots of people who would draw him no problem.
In fact toss your ref in here http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/6948926/ and when I get some extra time I could draw him for ya

Quite frankly he isn't as complicated as a lot of other characters I've seen floating around that have all different markings, massively detailed wings or extra limbs out the wazzo.
