Curious about Furry RP Groups

Are there any out there that aren't like... totally yiff based? And also NOT totally art based?
I've had awful luck with trying to roleplay on Furcadia as of late. It seems that there's some hidden code based in whispers that I can't crack which is just confusing as hell, and slightly frustrating. The few bites I get on my characters are also very fetish based which is... not what I'm always looking for.
Second Life is also unfortunately not an option for me; to put it bluntly, my internet is extremely shitty and ALSO has a data cap. I basically have to chose if I'm going to be spending my internet data usage on Steam or Netflix every month. And generally I just prefer something text based over graphics based! I DID use to RP on WoW but it's an expensive habit to keep up, and not one that I can keep up with consistently enough thanks to the aforementioned internet.
If you want some of my RP experience, well... I've been RPing for the better part of my life, at LEAST thirteen years, and in all sorts of formats. MMO, tabletop, play by post (my favorite format), in large forums of 100 + people and small groups of only 3-4 people (which is where I'm currently sitting). I'm pretty done with fandom based RPs, like Pokemon and such, but I have done them before!! I have characters I've had for years and years, new ones since I finally decided to come out as a furry, and everything in between. Reformed criminals are some of my favorite characters, and I RP cis guys, cis girls, and a few trans characters! (Sorry, but I don't like c-boys, herms, etc etc. I have many trans friends and it makes me super uncomfortable to hear those terms, and they have also expressed dislike about them)
Sooo... if anyone has any leads, hmu? Otherwise I'm going to eventually try to get art of a slave character for TGT on Furcadia, since that's like... the only other lead I have. I ALSO own all the books for HVC Draconis and I've been dying to get into a group about it!

Thank you so much for the lead!!! This setting looks super fascinating and I've already generated a few ideas, might even throw my naga boy in since I really want to use him for SOMETHING!! My free time just temporarily disappeared, but when I get back to Furcadia this is the first dream my friend and I are checking out <3
