Your art is very impressive, I really do love the level of detail, but you do usually seem to end up drawing the same kind of thing. You have an awesome style, you should try drawing a bit more out of your comfort zone.

The last eight submissions I've done have been for other people. I don't get a lot of opportunity to experiment.

Well experimentation is definitely important for an artist like you. I know taking commissions is great and all but if you really want to better your art and skills then you should experiment more. It's perfectly acceptable to close off commissions and practice or just draw whatever you feel like, although I don't know your situation and it's really up to you. That's just my advice.

I've always been impressed with your work, it always comes out great! And if you want to improve, you've gotta try stuff you haven't before! With the last picture you tried that one character as an anthro, and it came out well! You have to keep pushing yourself to new limits in order to improve. ^^
