I'm in the same boat as you, when I draw paw related stuff, i blow up in faves and comments, and when I post REAL ART, nothing.....its bs and I hate it.

thats just sort of the nature of the beast when it comes to doing art online. a great majority of users will respond more to something sexy than something particularly well done. its just kind of how we're wired i guess. not necessarily a "BAD THING" just a thing to bear in mind. its possible to get more traffic by doing just straight up ART but its a slow burn compared to the incentive people have to get as much traffic as possible as quickly as possible lol
