Any word on FAU?

Fellow furries! Have any of you gone to FAU. I'd seen the banner now and then but didn't think too much about it. However, now that I am back in NC, this con is only about 5.5 hours from me (probably less with my driving >.>). I believe things will have calmed down here by then and (assuming there's even a room left...) I could probably make the trip.
So... With that being a possibly, anyone going or know people who are going? >.>

Not going (too far away for me when I lived in MN... REALLY TOO FAR for me now that I live in southern Colorado) and don't really know anyone who is going. Sorry I couldn't be more help. :P

Aww... Sokay :P I thought it might be neat if I could find a more local con... That's probably the closet right now which is unfortunate. I was quite enjoying the thought of yearly MFF trips... >.>

Well, if you ever get the wild hair to come all the way out to Colorado for Rocky Mountain Fur Con, let me know - we could set up some room sharing thing or something. Its an hour drive for me from Colorado Springs, but I don't know any local furs going to RMFC... or anyone else period for that matter.

Who knows what I'll do... In some ways I'd love to start visiting various states and attending all kinds of cons. Perhaps I can try and become more into the community once again and actually make trips around. Now's not the best time while I get settled in, buuuut I did just get off my probational period and can actually take time off ;P
