rgreen13 has spawned in the room

I know you guys really don't care about this but I'm just feeling emotional and wanted to share this. One of my favorite musical artists is Melanie Martinez. Her album "Crybaby" is my favorite and almost every song speaks to or connects to me in a certain way. Here's how:



Song 1: Crybaby



This is song number one of her album. It connects to me because basically from my birth to the end of my middle school years, I cried a lot. I was just kinda sensitive physically and emotionally. I had friends but sometimes I'd stay isolated from them and hangout alone and away from the other students. I sometimes would go either a class period or a whole school day without speaking to anyone. I'd just keep what I wanted to say in my mind and body and let it sit there all day or just talk to myself.



Song 2: Dollhouse



Dollhouse was the first song I heard from Melanie and its basically my favorite. The video explains that basically everyone thinks that her "family" is perfect on the outside even though her mother is a drunk, her father is cheating, her son is a smoker and Melanie is... emotional. This is kind of like my family. I would explain but... nah...



Song 4: Carousel 



Carousel is about Melanie's Album character, Crybaby, having her first love interest but seeing the dark side of love. It's like being glued to a carousel, just going round and round in the same process and not being able to reach out for the one she loved. This is me cause I liked a lot of other people through out my life and yet I couldn't get them to like me back...



Song 6: Soap



Soap is about Crybaby saying something she regrets and wishing she could take it back. Like how back then parents made their kids wash their mouths out with soap after saying things they weren't supposed to. This connects to me because I have said a lot of things I regret in my life and I really wish I could take them back and make them up. The same with some actions I have done too.



Song 8: Pity Party



The meaning of this song is that Crybaby has invited her friends and the boy she likes to her birthday party but no one shows up. For me, a few times everyone I know has forgotten my birthday and made me feel awful... sometimes I feel like my actual birthday should have never happened.



Song 11: Pacify Her



In Pacify Her, Crybaby has a "rival" girl who also likes the same boy she does. This obviously has happened to me a few times. But each time I liked someone, I tried to get that rival to keep their mouth shut but they couldn't keep it closed and they all got my love... each and every time...



Song 13: Mad Hatter 



Mad Hatter is another one of my favorite songs, I basically believe it's about insanity and craziness. Two things I have. I'm a bit of a crazy head when it comes to fun stuff and sometimes I just go completely brain dead insane and just... not give anything to the world. I'd not even show any emotion sometimes...



Song 14: Play Date



Play Date compares to me because when I was young, I'd get kinda mad for when I lost and just give up and not play anymore... now a days I flip that around.



Song 15: Teddy Bear



I feel that Teddy Bear is actually about not being able to let go of others, even if they leave. This is me up to today because I still have people who I care about even if they hate me. I still hang on to them and just can't let go...



Song 16: Cake



Cake is the final song of the album. It's basically how love is like a cake, it has things to make it and parts of it to give out. But it can also be thrown away. Melanie is explaining how as a part of the cake, she has a sweet heart yet got thrown out.

Bro, I can relate to that first one, I've kept things, hurtful and just plain horrible things, that I want to say in my mind too, also I feel like I go crazy from time to time too, so don't worry bro, you and me are on some of the same boats
