Exploring and gathering cash is good for when youre just starting out, I'd recommend getting another character as soon as you can to help speed up the process. If you need anything, lemme know!

How does one even explore?

Assuming your villagers career is already explorer, you go to the villagers tab, click your villager then go to their career.

Husbandry, but i should still be able to explore for animals, right?

I think i figured out the "explore" for my job. . .

Can i only do things in my area? Like, I can't go to you area and see the shops?

there arent any other shops other then your city shops and user shops. but there arent many of those yet since people are still learning how to do their jobs and gather/make/sell stuff. ^ ^ id get 2 explorers. they make money the fastest and they are needed for materials for other jobs so you can make bank with em i have 2 explorers, 1 in animal husbandry and 1 crafter.
