So everyone knows, I've been mostly inactive for a few reasons...
- I've been working my butt off at Subway. I'm mostly a weekend opener these days, but there are days where I do work the day shift during most week days. But, for the most part I'm an opener on the weekends.
- I haven't really been in the mood to draw as I am to play videogames. :/ Sorry. But after an incident that deleted all of my artwork including some WIPS I wanted to post on here, I've been completely thrown off of digital art for a while now. I will do what I can to start drawing again, but it'll take a while.
- On the 3rd, my estranged biological father had died and I had to deal with some arrangement making with my family back in PA, about the release of his body and funeral plans and etc. Then about a day or 2 later, one of my uncles on my father's side of the family had a heart attack with a 99% blockage and was in the ICU. I'm not sure if he's been released, but the last I know of, he's stable.
- Around the same time as my father dying, uncle being hospitalized, I get what I believed was a sinus infection at the time. Welp. It turns out it was a dental abscess. So I had to deal with nausea, pain, swelling, faint feeling, fever, chills, and all that jazz until yesterday. It really affected my performance at work and almost got me chewed out on Friday cause I wanted to call off for the next day cause I wanted to go see a doctor. Manager wasn't having that and essentially threatened me to work the next day. So, I did and things got worse and it was then I learned it wasn't a sinus infection, but a dental abscess.
- Oh, it gets better. I finally got to a dentist yesterday and was put on a course of antibiotics. But, here's the kicker...it's not 1 but 2 dental abscesses! And both teeth are beside each other in the upper back left part of my mouth. Yay! The antibiotics will buy me some time but I want to keep taking them until I can get my teeth extracted...and the office wants to do that in September. :/ Apparently my dentist will be booked and it fucking sucks. But the receptionist told me that if anyone cancels she will get me in asap. In the meantime, I have to pop penicillin like candy!
But yeah, it's been complete fucking hell week for me. That's why I haven't been so active as of late. Oh and Pokemon Go is fun!
