So, I've started a new job recently. A job at a location that's so convenient for me and pays well too; along with $1 pay bonuses on Sundays and Holidays. It wasn't a position that I was hoping for; cause I was looking to branch out from the food area, but I managed to get a position in the grocery store's bakery dept. Said store is called Brookshires. I live about 5 minutes away from it. All I have to do; no joke, is just walk a little bit, turn a corner and there's the grocery store. I love it! But, yeah, I'm finally out of that hellhole aka Subway and somewhere where I can easily walk to work and can work quietly without much interruption. It's great! Despite me being lazy and not wanting to go to work cause I wanna stay home and be in my den all day, I've been getting some good hours starting off and the department's hours are perfect for my scheduling. So, yeah, that turned up in my life and I'm not going to leave anytime soon! (Unless something even better comes up!)
In other news, I've been debating a species change in my fursona; in which I am still in the process of revamping...still! Well, I'm thinking of retiring the malamute/bear concept and going for a different sort of hybrid. I still want to use a canine species and may go full mutt/something else, or something along the lines of a GSD/something else. I've kinda re-fallen in love with the GSD breed; after my roommates took in a GSD and a pitbull/lab to pet sit for a friend, and it made me think of how badly I used to love All Dogs Go To Heaven. I've always wanted to get a GSD and name him Charlie; just like Charlie from the movie. Yes, I know he was a GSD/Collie mix canonically. But, ever since I was little; before falling in love with malamutes, the GSD has been one of my most favorite dog breeds. So, I'm thinking about giving it a shot. Maybe! I'm still a little torn, to be honest.
But, yeah, let me know what you think or if you have any suggestions in mind when it comes to my fursona. Anything is appreciated.
