Bad news and need to share with you

Hey there everyone, how are you doing?
I'm writing this journal because I need to share some bad news with you guys.
A few of you may be wondering "why is Simba so absent from FA, skype, telegram..."
Last friday, around 3.30 am, when I was entering my house, 3 armed robbers forced me to get in, with a gun in my head. My mom was at home at that moment so they put me in the floor with a knee on my back and a gun in my head during 20 minutes. During that time, the other 2 robbers stole a lot of thing and get all that in my own car. They kick me in the floor several times to make sure I will not persuit they... and after that they leave.
Fortunly I must say I'm alive, and I'm fine. My mom is fine too and that's the most important thing. In that moment I was not worry about my own life... but my mom... damm, she is almost 76 years old... I thought they could do something to her or just have a heart attack because the horryfing experience.
About the things I lost... well, there are a LOT and more of them are irrecoverable... is going to be really hard for me to recover from this. But I will try my best. I know I have awesome friends and I can count with all of them right now.
Just want to share my story with you guys! Thanks for reading and the support! *hugs*

"but they came from behind" part of self defense training with a sidearm is improving your situational awareness habits. Knowing where everyone around you is located, having a rough idea of what they are each up to, and how much distance/time there is between them and you.
Would-be criminals can spot easy victims versus someone who is possibly or visibly armed and "on to them", and most of the time they will back down without attempting a crime. I carry a large pistol myself, and I carry it openly as a visible deterrent.
I wish you hadn't had to experience such a horror. The human world is an animal farm. Knowing the unhappy truth that there are no "safe places", we each need to take steps to protect ourselves from the predators around us.
Damn man, I am so sorry that happened and I hope the cops can track them down and serve you justice!!!

So glad you and your mom are ok. I hope they catch those basterds and that you can get some of your belongings back.
Nobody should have to go through such an experience, especially such a great person like you. The world treats its best people so shitty at times.

No chances that police catch those guys because police here is so corrupt and useless... but, I'm trying to get my life back and slowlying getting there. I'm going to need some time, but I know I will do it sooner or later.

The lost was huge but... slowly getting back in my feets. Like simba losing his lands except for the hakuna matata thing. I know I will get back on my feets soon and that would be great!

Yeah, honestly was the worst thing I've ever experiencied. Police here is totally useless... that is the sad reality in this country. Anyway, slowly getting back on my feets. The lost was huge... but nothing that cannot being replace it.
