Lightning Struck
During the bad storm last night, lightning struck one of the trees that was on the property. It was so loud. Probably the loudest thing I've ever heard in all of my life. I was in a skype call with Master
and
when it happened, and they could tell you it was loud. But, seconds after, the tree fell over, knocking out the power line.
We called the electric company, and to our surprise, they came out to the house within the hour, and repaired the electricity to the main house.
There was no damage to the house, nor was anyone hurt. This could also be seen as a blessing in disguise, actually. The tree itself was big enough that if it were to fall over, it would have crashed down into MY bedroom. The tree was already leaning down over the house, and it would have been tricky to cut it down in a way that it wouldn't fall over in the direction of the house. But now with half of it already cut down from the lightning strike, there's no need to worry. Though, we do have to clean up the mess...ugh...

You guys were lucky because a coworker of mine had lighting hit a tree in her yard and it fried her fuse box and outside lights and house alarm. With her phones . And be glad you were not near metal or the basement since you would have felt a electric shock from the lightning. As a possible. Risk there. I have been in your situation. Before and I am glad your safe dude.

Holy shit. :O -hugs tight- Well I'm glad you're alright bro. I remember something similar happening near me a few years back, although no trees were damaged. What happened was one night during a storm, a whole bright light, brighter than the sun, filled my bedroom for a millisecond, strobing like a camera bulb, and no sooner did the light disappear did a violently loud soind knock me off my feet, literally! The vibrations it caused the whole condo complex were so insane, it knocked a picture off of my wall! Now, back in those days since I believed in God, I told "him" to fuck off with that lightning shit. xD
