Got a police siren today! A really old mechanical device

It was pretty messed up when I got it, but I spent the day cleaning it up as best I could. I have no idea what brand this thing is. I still need to paint the body of the motor, and I want to do it right so I'm gonna wait till I can afford proper supplies, which will be in a couple of weeks.
One dollar, from a garage sale.

Now I'm in Texas though but I don't think there are any laws against what you install in your vehicle, just how you use them. I didn't really plan on putting this on my car though, since it would be hidden. If I had a truck or something maybe.

One feature of the electric siren I really liked was the simulated air horn, switched into my regular horn (like the install manual says). LOL I had it hooked up at one point where my car alarm would activate the strobes and 'fast wail' of the siren, with a bunch of relays and connections directly to the siren PCB. Sadly the siren died for unknown reasons and now I have a nice 100watt speaker doing lots of nothing. Stupid Star Systems.
