For the idea, I was thinking something along the lines of Gren being in the shower, only to have Melanie take advantage of the fact that he's naked and surprise him while he's in there. While they're having fun, currently in a doggy-style position with Melanie pressing herself against the glass wall of the shower, Valerie bursts in through the unlocked door, stark naked and a massive grin on her face, shouting "I HEAR SEX!!!!"... very much shocking the pair as they're caught in the act.

As for the fandom, I first got interested in being a furry around 2002-3, when I first heard about Furcadia. I played that for a bit, then in 2006 decided to get [url=http://www.furaffinity.net/view/272.....85/Gren's first picture[/url] commissioned, based on my Furcadia character (which is how Gren came into being... and why he has brown eyes in it). Once I got the picture, it was how I first found out about FurAffinity.
A couple of years pass, and in 2008 I see a banner on here regarding a convention in London called RBW (or "Rather Brilliant Weekend"). On a whim, I went to it. I was a little shy the first night, but it wasn't until I had a little click in my head and the realisation that 'nobody knows me, no-one afterwards will know me, and why should anyone care if I look like an idiot?' happened that I started to open up and enjoy myself (it's also the place where I first saw, though didn't actually talk to at the time, the guy who is now my closest and best friend,
Anyway, regardless, ever since that convention, I have opened up a lot and loved the furry community, despite the copious amounts of drama involved in it...
Also, after my third furry convention (the second being the 2009 RBW), which was my first trip to Confuzzled, I came out to my family about being a furry, and more importantly, coming out as gay... though that's since changed to bisexual. What can I say? I love guys, but I can't NOT love ladies as well!
Mine hasn't been an overly dramatic story of getting into and being in the fandom, but from my perspective, it's been an interesting and good one so far :-D

I used to play Furcadia many many many years ago before I even knew what I was getting myself into. You mentioning that actually gave me a "Oh goodness" moment in thinking I've been slowly groomed into the fandom over numerous years.

My idea of "what would the girls do": Two ideas crossed my mind immideately and hope they would appeal to you~

How did I get into the fandom? It was like 2010 orso I think. Anyway, longer since my account here exists! Learned how much the fandom offers and how well I fit into it. It wasn't anything tragic or a matter of instant love. It built up over time. Not sure if I'm closet furry or not. It depends. I have dear, close furry friends that I meet in person more and more often. But my family lives in blissful ignorance yet. You tell me where that puts me! ;]
I guess any benchmark is achievable over time!
