Thanks to an unexpected turn of events and the generosity of a friend I will be attending MFF this year.

I know I've been telling people for years that MFF was off my plate of cons to attend because it's gotten so big, noisy and chaotic (2013 was my last year), but I've discovered that I'd rather go to a big, noisy, crowded con with a good friend than go to a smaller, nicer con all by myself.

This change of events will, however, be putting my plans to attend CFZ 2017 into jeopardy. I had also been toying with the idea of swinging by Minnesota around the time of FM 2016 but work has prevented that from happening.
