Hello, all. Perhaps someone can help me with this..

Earlier today, I was using my iPod for my general music use and whatnot and suddenly, the screen went black. The machine was still on, but I couldn't get the screen to work. I plugged it into charge and waited a moment, and eventually it came back on. I went to go use it again, and the screen went black. Now, after wht I think was turning it off and on again (screen was still black so I have no actual idea...), but it is not turning on. Any help or ideas would be appreciated! Thanks!

Edit: Did a full restore from recovery mode, and now waiting for it to restore backed up items.
